Pakistan Airblue plane crashes in forest, 152 killed

ISLAMABAD - A plane belonging Airblue, Pakistan's private airline, crashed in heavy rain and bad weather yesterday (28 / 7). A total of 146 passengers and six crew members were killed in the accident. The incident was the worst aviation accident in Pakistan.
Sufficiently large fireball and thick smoke appeared in the air after the plane crashed in dense jungle area not far from Islamabad. It was seen up to a few districts of location.
''I saw a fireball and smoke a huge time of the accident. Then, large pieces of plane crash hit the hill and scattered in the woods,''said Haji Gul Taj, the police who witnessed the tragedy.

Other rescue workers, Arshad Javed, recalled similar. ''What we see only pieces of the hands, feet and other body parts. I gathered two heads, two legs and two hands, then put it into a body bag,''he said. We also shouted''to look for survivors. But, no noise replies,''he said.
Police said the wreckage scattered in three directions. ''In addition to the bodies, we found the equipment allegedly as a black box (black box containing the flight recorder, Red). Currently, a number of experts is examining,''said Bani Amin, police chief of Islamabad.
Rescuers have evacuated at least 90 people body parts. Evacuation and search for victims finally stopped yesterday afternoon because of heavy rain never let up.Moreover, the location of the accident can only be reached by helicopter.
So far, unknown cause of the accident. Raheel Ahmed, a spokesman for Airblue, bad weather is expected to trigger the crash. ''There is no technical damage before and when the plane took off,''he said.
Flight 202 left the ED Airport Karachi, southern Pakistan, at 07:45 local time (09:45 GMT), with the aim of Islamabad. Flight is estimated to take about two hours.
The accident happened when Airbus 321 was approaching and about to land at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad. The plane lost contact with airport control tower at 09:43 local time (11:43 GMT).
The pilot''had been given instructions and directions to land on runway (runway) I or II,''explained Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik. ''Before landing, the aircraft flew at an altitude of 2600 feet (approximately 792 meters). Without any explanation, the plane suddenly moving at an altitude of 3,000 feet. Maybe the pilot to the runway was blocked,''he continued.

Previously, the airline had only one accident in the tail at Quetta airport in 2008. There were no fatalities at that time.
The last time a plane crash in Pakistan occurred in July 2006. At that time, a Fokker F-27 aircraft owned Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) fell in the wheat fields on the outskirts of Multan, Pakistan in the middle. As many as 45 people were killed.
Previously, the worst airplane accident occurs Pakistan in 1979 and 1992. A PIA-owned jet crashed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 1979, killing 156 passengers and crew. While the accident occurred in 1992 Kathmandu, Nepal, killing 167 people.
